My recent stay at the Oxbow Hotel was a delightful blend of history and modern comfort. the rooms were thoughtfully decorated, reflecting a charming rustic vibe that resonated with me personally. the central location downtown was convenient, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and shops, adding to the overall experience. the hotel's commitment to restoring and preserving its historical significance, such as the story of my grandfather's stay there in 1957, added a personal touch that I truly appreciated. The inclusion of record players and albums in the room was a fun and unique feature that added to the overall charm of the stay. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was a welcome respite after a day of exploring the downtown area. the complimentary breakfast options, including individualized oatmeal and fresh fruit, provided a nutritious start to the day. I particularly enjoyed the cozy lounge area near the fireplace for a relaxing breakfast. the attachment of a cool restaurant that sometimes hosts live music added to the vibrant atmosphere of the hotel. the attention to detail in the decor and amenities, such as the Supper Club Game Room and the ever-changing list of creative cocktails, showcased the hotel's commitment to providing a memorable and unique experience for guests. Overall, the Oxbow Hotel provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and character that made my stay truly memorable. Whether you're a solo traveler, a family like mine, or a group of friends, this hotel offers something special for everyone. I highly recommend it for a unique and upbeat stay in downtown Eau Claire.
